The bill (Reg. No. 8246-2) corrects legal deficiencies in the Law "On the High Council of Justice" as to the procedure of requesting the copies of court cases by the High Council of Justice.
The People´s Deputies drew attention to the fact that the Decree of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine No. 2-рп/2011 of 11.03.2011 ruled unconstitutional provisions of part 3 of clause 25 of the Law "On the High Council of Justice" regarding the right of the High Council of Justice to request the copies of pending court cases.
The committee members stressed that this Decree of the Constitutional Court recommends harmonizing part 4 of clause 25, part 1 of clause 40 of the Law "On the High Council of Justice", and part 1 of clause 188-32 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Infringements with it.
